Welcome
The Carmacks Development Corporation (CDC) pursues business opportunities both within the traditional lands of our shareholder, the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation, and beyond. The CDC is the economic development arm of the LSCFN and is a First Nations corporation. The CDC is headquartered in Carmacks, Yukon, located 180 kilometres north of Whitehorse on the Klondike Highway.
Carmacks is comprised of the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation and the Village of Carmacks. Carmacks is at the Hub of the Yukon, making it central to all Yukon communities and, hence, a prime logistical area for development.
The Little Salmon/Carmacks traditional territory is rich in both renewable and non-renewable resources.
Founded in 1988, the CDC operates independent of its shareholder and is involved in a diverse range of activities, primary among them Little Salmon General Contracting and Carmacks Mechanical Services.
If you're a business looking to work in the LSCFN area or simply interested in the services we offer, please contact us today.
