A. The CDC is owned by the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation. The firm has an independent Board of Directors and reports annually to its shareholder.

A. The CDC was founded in 1984.

Q. What does the CDC do?
A. The CDC pursues business opportunities across the Yukon and beyond. We are partners in the First Nation's owned Little Salmon General Contracting Inc. and operate Carmacks Mechanical Services. As well, the CDC supplies a fire suppression crew on contract to the Yukon government to fight forest fires here and abroad. We welcome any business person who wants do do business in the Carmacks region to meet with us. As well, we are open to discussing business opportunities outside the Carmacks area.
